Assign Tags in Offline Mode

Afi2Go Prime's Offline Tag Assignment mode lets you assign tags to animals without an active internet connection. This feature streamlines onboarding and tag management, particularly on large farms with inconsistent connectivity.

Enabling Offline Mode

  1. Open the Afi2Go Prime main settings.

  2. Enable Offline Tag Assignment mode.

  3. Tap Download Data.

  4. Tap Start Tag Assignment once the download completes.

Assigning Tags Offline

The app saves each assignment locally and maintains a running count of your progress.

  1. Search for an animal by entering the ID manually or scanning the animal with a wand.

  2. Review the existing tag information displayed on the assignment screen.

  3. Assign a new tag by scanning the tag or entering the number manually.

  4. Tap Confirm.

Resolve Conflicts: If a tag is already linked to another animal, follow the on-screen prompts to resolve the conflict immediately.

Syncing Data with AfiFarm

  1. Navigate to the app's Main Settings.

  2. Tap Tag Assignment.
